Patricio Misitrano, Vice President

PatricioPatricio Misitrano has over 20 years of experience as a highly-valued Tennis and Platform Tennis Director and Professional. He has previously worked in many areas of the tennis industry including media, college coaching, resorts, private country clubs and public facilities.  Patricio has experience in all aspects of Club Tennis Management including indoor and outdoor facility design and maintenance; pro shop management; adult and junior programming; tournament management; budgeting; and strategic planning.
Patricio is the Director of Tennis at Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, Connecticut and has directed at many prestigious clubs in the Northeast including Greenwich Country Cub, Country Club of New Canaan and Tamarack Country Club. 
 
Patricio is currently the USPTA New England Vice President as well as a tester for both the PPTA and USPTA. He is also a published author in numerous publications including ADDvantage Magazine (the USPTA National Magazine), Platform Tennis Magazine, Paddletimes.com, and other professional publications.
 
As a player Patricio was selected as All-American by the NAIA and has won two USPTA National Doubles titles on the grass of the Philadelphia Cricket Club in 2006 and 2008. On the platform tennis courts he has been ranked in the top 15 in the country for the past 5 years and has won various National Ranking Tournaments. 
 
Patricio was asked to join the Board of the FCPTL, the second largest platform tennis league, and was the tournament Director of the APTA’s largest Mixed National Tournament when he ran the 2014 Mixed Nationals. Most recently he leads APTA’s Tournaments Super Committee and was the main force behind the launch of the Grand Prix Series, the “Grand Slams” of paddle. 
 
Since 2011 he has been the founder and CEO of paddletimes.com, the #1 media content website for platform tennis news and tournament management.
